corner”, an expert told a global conference in London this week 
featuring interactive sex toys and discussions on the ethics of 
relationships with humanoids.</div>

“Sexbots” are a staple of science 
fiction — the idea of robots as sex partners is explored, for instance, 
in recent films and television series like “Ex-Machina” and “Westworld.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But some specialists believe the first 
animated lovers made of metal, rubber and plastic, programmed to provide
 sexual bliss, will take a step into reality just months from now.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“Sex with robots is just around the 
corner, with the first sexbots coming… some time next year,” artificial 
intelligence expert David Levy told the International Congress on Love 
and Sex with Robots at Goldsmiths, University of London.             </div>

The conference in London showcased some 
of the latest developments in robotic sex toys, such as gadgets which 
allow couples to kiss, no matter how far apart they are.</div>

The “Kissenger”, which attaches to your 
mobile phone, contains sensors to detect the pressure of a kiss and 
transmit it to your partner’s device in real time. It has been under 
development for several years.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now students at Tokyo’s Keio University 
are developing the “Teletongue”, aimed at providing “remote oral 
interaction” and designed to be “kinky”, according to co-creator 
Dolhathai Kaewsermwong.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It allows couples to send licking sounds
 and sensations through cyberspace using a “lollipop”, creating an 
“immersive experience”, she explained.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
– ‘Moral panic’ –</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Lynne Hall, of the University of 
Sunderland’s school of computer science, in northeast England, said that
 robots could create “a fantastic sexual experience”.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“There are lots of benefits to sex with 
robots… it’s safe, you never catch any disease, you can control it,” she
 told the conference.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
She rejected the idea that robots would replace or threaten sex with humans, however.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“We are somehow fed by moral panic… ‘It’s disgusting… nobody will ever have sex with a human again’,” Hall told the conference.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“But people are regularly watching porn… and they are still having sex with humans,” she said.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Levy, the author of “Love and Sex with 
Robots”, from which the annual conference takes its title, said marriage
 to robots would be the next logical step.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“As sex with robots becomes more and 
more commonplace… we shall come face to face with the very real 
possibility of marriage to robots,” the former international chess 
master said.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And why not?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Robots of the future will be “patient, 
kind, protective, loving”, never “jealous, boastful, arrogant, rude,” 
Levy said — “unless of course you want them to be”.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“All of the following qualities and many more are likely to be achievable in software within a few decades,” he added.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Levy is convinced that rapid changes in 
attitudes to sex and marriage in recent years point to a world where 
“more and more people come to accept sex and love with robots”.</div>

Rap legend Tupac Shakur and grunge rockers Pearl Jam earned 
spots Tuesday in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as perpetual nominee 
Nile Rodgers finally won recognition — in a side category.<br />

Tupac, who was slain in 1996, and Pearl Jam were both chosen
 to enter the shrine to rock culture in their first year of eligibility.<br />
<br />

The other selected artists were folk singer Joan Baez, 
stadium-packing rockers Journey  and       two top forces in English 
progressive rock — Yes and the Electric Light Orchestra.<br />

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will induct its new class at an April 7 concert at the Barclays Center in New York.<br />

touching! Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the crescents are golden. Let

He said, “I attend another church, while  their mother attends that church. But on that day, she had to go to  another branch, where they were holding an anniversary. So, she was not  around that day.</div>

“Chijindu’s elder sister, Chima, took  him to church. It was while they were together in the church that he  went missing. The sister said she didn’t know when he went outside and  started running around.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“She said she later saw him playing  around the statue in the church. Unknown to her, somebody had picked him  from the back of the statue because the statue has a low fence. The boy  couldn’t have climbed the fence and jumped out; so we believe somebody  picked him. This happened during the first mass of the church.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He said the case was reported at the  Umuagwo Police Station, adding that the family had spent a lot of money  to search for the victim without any success.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Felix, an engineer, told <i>PUNCH Metro</i>  that the family had been distressed as a result of the incident, urging  anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the police.</div>

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP  Enwe<br />
rrem Andrew, confirmed the incident, adding that it was a case of  child stealing and not kidnapping.</div>

He said, “It is a case of child  stealing. Since nobody has called for ransom, it is not kidnapping. The  child was trailed and stolen. The family left the child alone and he got  missing in the crowd. Investigations are ongoing.”</div>

 The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Abeokuta, Ogun State on Tuesday 
confirmed the death of a Nursing staff to Lassa fever, while two others 
have been placed on observation.

 The victim reportedly died last week after battling with the sickness, which is also known as Lassa hemorrhagic fever (LHF). </div>

 The hospital Head of Information, Segun Orisajo confirmed the 
development to a DailyTrust correspondent, but assured that the 
management has put up necessary measures to curtail the situation. </div>

 He said the victim, identified as Adebusuyi Bolanle died from complications which arose from contacting the fever. </div>

immediate families of the deceased have been contacted and they were 
here today (Tuesday) for observation. </div>

There’s the lethargy-inducing flight from one side of the continent

But against West Ham United in the EFL Cup last week Rooney 
delivered one of the most character-filled performances perhaps of his 
entire career. At the hub of most of United’s best moments, he was one 
of the key men in the 4-1 win and would surely have been given another 
run-out on Sunday had he not picked up his fifth yellow card of the 
season.<br />

It was also the latest example of how Zlatan Ibrahimovic can thrive 
with Rooney in close proximity. The Swede’s long-range effort against 
Everton was the first of his 12 Manchester United goals to come without 
the skipper on the field, and Rooney’s presence within Ibrahimovic’s 
vicinity has largely been a huge positive for United.<br />

When Ibrahimovic has needed somebody to read his movement and his 
clever play, Rooney has generally been the player responding best. And 
that kind of partnership could be crucial in the kind of atmosphere that
 will await United in Odessa. The ageing and tiring Michael Carrick 
apart, Ibrahimovic and Rooney are the Reds’ two most experienced heads, 
and a single move in which the pair link up to good effect might be all 
it takes for United to complete the job of qualifying for the knockout

This woman was given the shock of her life - when she was invited 
to her OWN wedding. While the bride is usually responsible for the 
majority of a wedding's organisation, on this occasion, Mercedes Ortiz 
was kept completely in the dark.
<br />
<br />In fact, the stunned bride only found out she would be the star 
attraction at the wedding when the doors of the church were opened.
<br />
<br />Her husband, Gustavo, managed to arrange the ceremony at the church 
in Sarandi, Buenos Aires, Argentina, without his wife suspecting a 
thing.

<br />And her incredible reaction was caught on camera as dozens of her friends helped surprise her.
<br />
<br />An almost nine-minute long film of her entrance, caught by a friend,
 shows how staff at the church in the city opened the massive wooden 
doors to the church and people start applauding.

<br />Mercedes appears momentarily stunned before it appears someone tells her she has, in fact, arrived at her own wedding.
<br />
<br />She had been told she was going to a friend's ceremony.
<br />
<br />But she then breaks down into tears as she realises what her soon-to-be husband has done.
<br />
<br />Every time she composes herself, as her friends manage to put a veil
 on her head, she breaks down into tears as she spots another old 
friend.
<br />
<br />At one stage, she spots what are thought to be her three children with Gustavo; Gaspar, 13, Gianni, 10, and four-year-old Gala.
<br />
<br />It takes her a number of minutes to make her way down the aisle with her father as she stops to greet guests.
<br />
<br />But she eventually gets to the altar where she gives Gustavo a kiss.
<br />
<br />Later that night, while the couple danced, she told him: "I can't believe you did this, you're crazy."
<br />
<br />The childhood sweethearts have been together for 30 years before 
Gustavo made Mercedes an honest woman, according to Argentinian site 
tn.com .
<br />
<br />He is said to have come up with the idea five years ago and spoke to
 a father at the Sacred Heart of Barracas Church who agreed to the plan
