Payment for JAMB's E-PIN-registration and the recommended reading text is done at the banks and NIPOST. Banks have also agreed to make these services available at CBT centres and JAMB State Offices.</span><br />

Each Candidate should visit any accredited CBT centre (the list of accredited CBT centres are on our website i.e. www.jamb.gov.ng) with his/her personal details, the profile and evidence of payment.</span><br />

<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">vii. Each Candidate is to complete the online application form by supplying the required details such as name, e-mail address, L.G.A., academic qualification, etc.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">viii. At the CBT centre, Candidate's ten fingers biometric and image will be captured and uploaded.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">ix. O/L and/or A/L grades are to be provided by candidates. Candidates who are awaiting result should supply the result online as soon as the results are available on JAMB's portal. No recommendations from any Institution will be considered by JAMB if the candidate has not supplied his/her O/L result on the portal of JAMB.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">x. Each Candidate is to collect his e-slip at the end of registration as evidence of registration.</span><br />

<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">4.1 The general entry requirements for admission into the First Degree, National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID) and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes in Universities, other Degree-Awarding Institutions, Monotechnics, Polytechnics, Innovation, Enterprise Institutes and Colleges of Education are available in the e- Brochure which would be given to each Candidate at the accredited CBT centres and JAMB state offices.</span><br />

<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">4.2 Candidates with one of the following qualifications</span><br />

<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">(a) A minimum of five (5) GCE/WASCE credits at not more than two sittings with at least two Principal or Advanced level G.C.E. and the others.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">(b) Two passes at the IJMB Advanced Level Examination,</span><br />
<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">Cambridge moderated Schools of Basic Studies Terminal Examination, JUPEB or Institute of Baccalaureate from</span><br />
<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">recognized institutions with SSCE/GCE, NTS/NBC credits equivalent in three other subjects (SUBJECT TO UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS).</span><br />

<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">( c) Passes in two major subjects in the NCE with S.S.C.E., NTC/NBC credits or equivalents in THREE other subjects (mainly for Education Courses) and ND. Education may be accepted as a third A' Level subject for those taking courses in Education. (d) Minimum of lower credit grade in National Diploma or National Innovation Diploma including the O'Level requirements.</span><br />

<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">The Board will mount a mock examination in all the accredited CBT centres to prepare and familiarise INTERESTED Candidates with the CBT environment.</span><br />

<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">Interested candidates are advised to indicate their interest in the mock examination during the registration process.</span><br />

<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">10.3 As it is the practice, centres are allowed to charge not more than Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) only as registration fee. Any centre that charges more than Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) should be reported to JAMB for appropriate sanctions.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: whitesmoke; font-family: "cabin" , sans-serif; font-size: 17.6px;">10.4 All CBT centres have been mandated to select any of the participating banks.</span><br />

A lecturer from the Department of English at the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State, Hajji Yusuf, was caught and stripped naked after the female student he wanted to sleep with set him up.<br />
According to the report that was shared online, the lecturer had threatened to fail the student if she refuse to get down with him, so he came around to have sex with her as agreed, not knowing she had planned with her boyfriend to disgrace him.<br />
He was busted after he pulled his cloths off.<br />

Citizens Action to Take Back Nigeria (CATBAN), a civil society  organisation, has warned Abiola Ajimobi, governor of Oyo state, to  reopen Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) or they will "<b>occupy and shut down the state</b>".<br />

A video clip of an altercation between Ajimobi  and LAUTECH students has since gone viral. The students were protesting  the closure of the university for the past eight months.<br />

"In a  statement on Thursday, Ibrahim Garba Wala, convener of the group, said  the governor should also withdraw his “insulting remarks” and apologise  to the students.<br />
<br />
He said that Ajimobi displayed “rascality by  saying all sorts of provocative things, including calling on the  students to start a riot” instead of behaving in a “dignified manner as  the leader and constituted authority.”<br />
<br />
"Therefore, we are giving  Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state seven days to withdraw his  insulting remarks and apologise to LAUTECH students for treating them  with such disdain. We are also demanding that LAUTECH be reopened in the  next seven days, failure to which we would be forced to #OCCUPY and  shut down Oyo state," the statement read.<br />

We also want to  strongly caution the Oyo State Governor from future reckless display of  impunity and power towards Nigerian youths, who are the bedrock of this  nation and on whom the future rests."<br />

Governor Ajimobi was  surrounded by heavily armed security personnel who were positioned to  shoot without provocation, an obvious sign that the governor’s arrogant,  inciting remarks were fuelled by his belief that he was well-protected  by security agents paid with proceeds of tax paid by those who voted him  into office, who also look up to him for protection and better welfare.<br />
<br />
It  should be recalled that LAUTECH has been shut down for over eight  months due to lack of funding to the university, and as a result lives  of thousands of students temporarily placed on hold.<br />
<br />
“It was in  an effort to demand for the reopening of their institution so their  lives could proceed positively in their quest to better themselves that  the students protested to the governor of their host state that faithful  day.”<br />
<br />
LAUTECH is owned by the governments of Oyo and Osun state, both of which are cash-strapped to run the institution.<br />

Police have arrested the Vice Principal in Nassarawa State, suspected of raping his female student. </div>

 <a href="https://draft.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a><br />Idrisu Kennedy, Police Public Relation Officer of Nassarawa State 
Police Command, said the vice principal allegedly raped the 16-year-old 
student on Decemeber 13, 2016.<br /> <br />According to the police, the man 
lured the girl to a hotel in Nasarawa Local Government Area of the 
state, where he had canal knowledge of her.<br /> <a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a><br />According
 to NAN, the police urged the general public, especially parents and 
relations of victims to report any case of rape to security agencies for
 appropriate prosecution.<br /> <br />Reacting on the matter, Tina Cyril, 
Nasarawa State Chairperson of Nigeria Association of Women Journalist, 
described the incident as barbaric. She said the association would 
monitor the cases to conclusion, and promised continuous advocacy on the
 rights of women and children in the state.<br /> <br />She advised parents to always monitor their children especially the girl child, to guard them against any form of abuse.</div>
