                                                    A trio of small 
towns in a remote corner of New Hampshire cast the first Election Day 
ballots for United States president early Tuesday, with Donald Trump 
beating Hillary Clinton 32 to 25 in the overall count.<br />

The three communities’ small handful of residents voted at the stroke
 of midnight, in a quadrennial election ritual that goes back to the 
first half of the 20th century.<br />

Members of the media far outnumbered the eight eligible voters in 
Dixville Notch, nestled in New Hampshire’s Great North Woods about 30 
kilometres from Canada.<br />

Clinton, the Democratic Party’s nominee, beat Republican Trump four votes to two in Dixville Notch.<br />

She also scored a 17 to 14 victory in Hart’s Location, a town with a 
population of about 40 people. But the real estate mogul trounced 
Clinton 16 votes to four in Millsfield, a few kilometers south of 
Dixville Notch.<br />

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that it was the first time 
the community had held such a vote in decades. The electoral law in the 
New England state allows communities of fewer than 100 people to open 
their polls at midnight, in what’s become a proud tradition for their 
residents.<br />

The event garners headlines and curiosity each election cycle, even 
if it isn’t considered predictive of how residents of the rest of the 
small north-eastern state will vote during the daytime hours. New 
Hampshire has four Electoral College votes and is described as a toss-up
 state this election, with Trump and Clinton seen as running 
neck-and-neck.<br />

Terrible news for Toni Kroos</h2>
Real Madrid have received some horrible news on Tuesday, as it’s been
 announced that German World Cup winner  Toni Kroos has a broken bone in
 his foot.<br />

Kroos picked up the injury in last weekend’s La Liga match against Leganes.<br />

<a data-href="http://www.101greatgoals.com/goals/spain/gareth-bale-double-real-madrid-beat-leganes-3-0/" href="https://draft.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=7093008497112552619" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Los Blancos won the match 3-0 thanks to a brace from Gareth Bale before <span data-type="full">Alvaro</span> Morata cashed in with a third</a>.<br />

Real are in first place in Spain, but they’ll now be without Kroos for an extended period.<br />

The club have announced Kroos is out of action for up to three months. AS have explained the injury as follows:<br />

<strong><em>Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is looking at being out
 for six to eight weeks, after suffering an avulsion fracture (where 
part of the bone is torn off, often under extreme tension from a tendon 
or ligament) to the fifth metatarsal in his right foot</em></strong><br />

Real’s other injury problems</h2>
Zinedine Zidane has problems in central midfield.<br />

Defensive midfielder Casemiro is still on the sidelines with a broken
 leg, although Luka Modric made his comeback from injury 
against Leganes.

Protesters, in 
their hundreds, on Tuesday, stormed the headquarters of the Independent 
National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Abuja over alleged production of
 fake results sheets for the Rivers re-run elections.<br />
The aggrieved protesters under the aegis of Citizens For Good 
Governance who are demanding the resignation of INEC’s Chairman, Mahmood
 Yakubu, said the INEC boss was incapable of leading the nation’s 
electoral umpire.<br />
They claimed that INEC National Commissioner in charge of Electoral 
Operations, Hajiya Amina Zakari, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi 
Amaechi, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, were planning to rig 
the forthcoming legislative rerun election in Rivers State.<br />
Recall that the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike had on Monday 
accused INEC, the Nigerian Police and the All Progressives Congress, 
APC, of colluding to rig the forthcoming Rivers Rerun elections.<br />
