Terrible news for Toni Kroos

Real Madrid have received some horrible news on Tuesday, as it’s been announced that German World Cup winner  Toni Kroos has a broken bone in his foot.
Kroos picked up the injury in last weekend’s La Liga match against Leganes.
Los Blancos won the match 3-0 thanks to a brace from Gareth Bale before Alvaro Morata cashed in with a third.
Real are in first place in Spain, but they’ll now be without Kroos for an extended period.
The club have announced Kroos is out of action for up to three months. AS have explained the injury as follows:
Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is looking at being out for six to eight weeks, after suffering an avulsion fracture (where part of the bone is torn off, often under extreme tension from a tendon or ligament) to the fifth metatarsal in his right foot

Real’s other injury problems

Zinedine Zidane has problems in central midfield.
Defensive midfielder Casemiro is still on the sidelines with a broken leg, although Luka Modric made his comeback from injury against Leganes.
