Members of the largely <strong>Muslim Seleka</strong> rebel group on Friday, killed at least 10 people in the volatile <strong>Central African Republic</strong> (CAR).</div>
<div align="justify">
Witnesses said in Bangui that heavily armed 
militants attacked a village near the central town of Grimari on 
Thursday and set dozens of houses on fire.</div>
<div align="justify">
They said several people were injured during the attack.</div>
<div align="justify">
The witness said the onslaught came after Seleka 
rebels killed more than 40 people during two attacks in the same region 
earlier this month.</div>
<div align="justify">
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalled that CAR was 
plunged into more than two years of lawlessness after Seleka overthrew 
Christian president <strong>Francois Bozize</strong> in March 2013.</div>
<div align="justify">
Since a new government was elected in February, with
 President Faustin Touadera at the helm, the landlocked country has seen
 a reduction in violence between rebels groups.</div>

The Ekiti State House of Assembly has petitioned the Economic and 
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), calling for the investigation and 
prosecution of the immediate past governor of the State and Minister of 
Solid Minerals, Dr Kayode Fayemi and others, for allegedly looting the 
State to the tune of over N40 billion.<br />

<br />

The petition, dated October 24, 2016 and signed by Speaker of the 
House of Assembly, Pastor Kolawole Oluwawole, was submitted to the EFCC 
in Abuja today, by the trio of the Deputy Speaker, Hon Segun Adewumi, 
Chairman House Committee on Information, Dr Samuel Omotoso and Hon Sina 
Animasaun.

 come neatly packed in their own wrapper, they can be eaten in their 
whole form, sliced into fruit salads or made into smoothies, very 
versatile fruit. You can indulge in your sweet tooth by eating bananas 
and the beauty of it is, you won't ruin your diet. Healthy and sweet, 
the perfect combination. Bananas are fat and cholesterol free so you can
 use them as a healthy substitute for the oil or butter you’ll use when 
making cookies.<br />
 Bananas are rich in potassium, vitamin B6 and C, 
magnesium, copper, manganese, carbohydrates, fibre, and protein. These 
minerals and nutrients provide so many benefits in the body but these 
are not only the benefits we can get from eating bananas. Lets looks at 
others, so if you If you know anyone who has a thing against banana, 
tell them to grab a banana and read this article, am serious they go

 had four games at the end of the season [after Moyes left] and I think

Forest
 department officials in India have promised strict action after a 
python attacked a man when a group was trying to click a photo with the 
snake.<br />
<br />
The incident took place on Friday after forest department 
officials removed the python from the premises of a school in 
northwestern Rajasthan State.<br />
<br />
People in the group were posing for pictures with it after successfully capturing it.<br />
Deputy Conservator of Forests, K.G. Shrivastav said the incident was unexpected as all officers were highly trained.<br />
<br />
“I wanted the snake to be released in my presence, but the officials released it before I could reach the spot.<br />
<br />
The victim, Ashok Vishnoi, accepted that the incident happened due to carelessness on his part.<br />
“The
 moment I received the news, I reached the location. I did not realise 
how close I was to the python and it attacked me. This is entirely my 
fault,” said the victim.<br />
<br />
Vishnoi added that the mishap happened in
 a short span of time in spite that the rescue officials had a strong 
grip on the reptile.<br />
<br />
The snake was later released.<br />

Microsoft
 reported adjusted revenue and profit that blew past analysts’ estimates
 on Thursday, as soaring sales from its cloud business pushed the 
technology giant’s shares to an all-time high.<br />
The news 
underscores the dramatic yet still early shift of businesses switching 
to cloud services after long relying on software programs and other 
hardware.<br />
<br />
Shares of Microsoft rose 6.1 percent to $60.73 in after-hours trading, adding more than $27 billion to its market value.<br />
The
 Redmond, Washington-based company said revenue from its flagship cloud 
product Azure, which businesses can use to host their websites, apps or 
data, rose 116 percent.<br />
<br />
“There’s a huge runway for them to show 
growth,” said Trip Chowdhry, managing director of Global Equities 
Research, noting the market for cloud services will be controlled almost
 entirely by Microsoft and larger rival Amazon.com Inc.<br />
<br />
Early 
investment in the cloud, coupled with machine learning and applications 
that can scale at different levels, have set those companies apart from 
smaller rivals – and precipitated the decline of older software 
companies, Chowdhry said.

 member of the US military was killed in a bomb blast in northern Iraq 
on Thursday, officials said, as Iraqi forces in the region continued 
their push on Mosul.<br />
<br />
US defense officials did not immediately 
identify the service member, or say whether he or she was one of the 
more than 100 US troops advising Iraqi security forces and Kurdish 
peshmerga as they advance toward Mosul, the Islamic State group’s last 
stronghold, on multiple fronts.<br />
<br />
The US-led coalition fighting IS 
said in a statement that further information would be released “as 
appropriate” — additional details often depend on when family members 
are notified of the death.<br />
An unnamed US official cited by CNN said the service member was medevaced off the battlefield but later died from the wounds.<br /> No other US troops were wounded, CNN said.

Juventus
 goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has ruled out the possibility of going into
 a club coaching role once he retires, instead preferring the idea of a 
national team job.<br />
The veteran shot-stopper has made a huge impact
 as part of Italy’s senior international side, racking up 165 
appearances since making his bow as a 19-year-old in October 1997 and 
helping them to World Cup glory in 2006.<br />
Buffon was made captain 
of the national side after the 2010 World Cup and would welcome the 
opportunity to continue his involvement with the Azzurri from the 
touchline at some stage in the future.<br />
<br />
“Football has been my world
 for 32 years,” Buffon told Corriere della Sera. “I had the good fortune
 to be like a worm on the inside, obtaining my knowledge.<br />
“The
 pitch is the most beautiful part of the game; it gives you emotions 
which bring meaning to life. So I wouldn’t like a role as [a club] 
coach, with the day-to-day nature of it.<br />
“I wouldn’t rule out a 
role as national coach; you’d still get the emotion of the pitch but 
with the time and the freedom to devote to other things.”<br />
<br />
When 
Buffon does finally hang up his gloves, he fully expects his current 
17-year-old understudy Gianluigi Donnarumma to re-write the record 
books.<br />
“Despite the age gap, Gigio is like a little brother to 
me,” he added on the AC Milan youngster. “He’s a special lad, very calm.
 I was completely different at his age.<br />
<br />
“He’s thoughtful, 
intelligent and has extraordinary quality. He has everything to make 
history in the role. We’ll just have to wait 20 years to make 
conclusions.”<br />

Lionel
 Messi ran riot through Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City defence as

 96,290 people at Camp Nou, Messi picked up on one City mistake on 17 
minutes and added two more — one brilliantly curled in — in the second 
half after City keeper Carlos Bravo was sent off.<br />

“We have seen the calm that Messi has to finish inside the area as if he was in the school yard,” said Enrique.<br />
“If
 there is anything you can expect of Messi it is that. It doesn’t matter
 how many days he has been out or the games he has missed.”<br />
Messi was “phenomenal,” added Barcelona defender Samuel Umtitei.<br />

 police said on Monday they have taken a pigeon into custody after it was 
found carrying a warning note to Prime Minister Narendra Modi near the 
nation’s heavily militarised border with Pakistan.<br />
Border Security
 Force (BSF) officers found the bird at Pathankot in the northern state 
of Punjab, where Pakistan-based militants launched a deadly attack on an
 airforce base in January.<br />
“We took it into custody last evening,” Pathankot police inspector Rakesh Kumar told AFP by telephone.<br />
“The
 BSF found it with a note in Urdu saying something like ‘Modi, we’re not
 the same people from 1971. Now each and every child is ready to fight 
against India’,” Kumar said.<br />
The neigbours fought their third and last full-blown war in 1971.<br />
The
 note was apparently signed by the Pakistan-based militant group 
Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) “so we are investigating the matter very 
seriously”, Kumar said. <br />
It
 is not the first time birds have become embroiled in the often deadly 
decades-old rivalry between the two nuclear-armed nations.<br />
But it 
comes as tensions escalate over a raid on an Indian army base in Kashmir
 two weeks ago that New Delhi blamed on the same militant group held 
responsible for the attacks in January.<br />
Last week, India’s 
military hit militants across the de-facto border dividing disputed 
Kashmir, in a rare move that sparked fury from Islamabad.<br />
Two balloons were also recently found in Punjab with similar messages addressed to Modi in Urdu.<br />
Last
 year, Indian police seized a pigeon on suspicion it was being used for 
espionage by Pakistan and also X-rayed it to check for any spy camera, 
transmitter or hidden chip.<br />
In 2013, Indian security forces found a
 dead falcon fitted with a small camera, and in 2010 another pigeon was 
detained over spying fear

 it would be a very logical name for the rumored keyboard display.<br />

the Magic Toolbar. Once again, a newly incorporated company filed for 
the trademark around the world — so it’s hard to know for sure that it’s
 Apple behind it. But this company has worked with the same lawyers that
 worked on the AirPods trademark. It’s a nice coincidence.<br />

The name Magic Toolbar itself suggests that it’s going to be used as a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toolbar" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">toolbar</a>, with all the on-screen buttons and icons you’d expect from your favorite apps.<br />

Well-informed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities already <a data-href="https://techcrunch.com/2016/05/24/the-new-macbook-pro-could-feature-a-touch-id-sensor-and-an-oled-mini-screen/" href="https://draft.blogger.com/null" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">spilled the beans</a>
 back in May by unveiling new hardware features. In particular, the new 
13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro should be thinner and lighter. It should
 also come with the latest Intel Skylake processors for better 
performance and battery life.<br />

But the three most interesting aspects of this new design are the 
Magic Toolbar, the addition of a Touch ID sensor and the potential 
switch to USB Type-C ports. According to <a href="http://thetrademarkninja.com/2016/10/19/apple-trademark-exclusive-new-macbook-details/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Trademark Ninja</a>,
 Apple also plans to use the name “Smart Button” in the upcoming MacBook
 Pro. That could be a new name for the Touch ID sensor and a way to 
differentiate the button from the “home button” on iOS devices.<br />

And yes, Apple wants to make the MacBook Pro thinner again. If you 
look at the current MacBook Pro, the USB and the MagSafe ports are a 
bottleneck when it comes to thickness. Switching all these ports to USB 
Type-C ports would make it much easier to make the laptop thinner. Let’s
 just hope Apple will put a bunch of USB Type-C ports and not just one.<br />

At<a data-href="http://www.thehollywoodgossip.com/2016/10/presidential-debate-round-three-who-won-clinton-or-trump/" href="https://draft.blogger.com/null" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> last night's debate</a> at the UNLV campus in Las Vegas, Trump actually managed to keep his notorious temper in check for the first 20 minutes or so.<br />

But like a kid left alone in a room full of Cheetos and fireworks, it 
was only a matter of time before Donald made a big orange mess out of 
everything.<br />

As is the case any time you put Trump in front of a camera for 90 
minutes, there were numerous jaw-dropping moments that would've likely 
been enough to <em>bury</em> any other campaign in the history of American politics.<br />

At one point, the man actually stood before the nation and declared that he <a data-href="http://www.thehollywoodgossip.com/2016/10/donald-trump-yes-i-really-may-contest-the-election-results/" href="https://draft.blogger.com/null" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">may not accept the results of the November election</a>.<br />

It's a sad day for the US when a candidate can undermine the bedrock 
principles of our democracy and still maintain a support base of 
millions.<br />

 the startup that lets websites and mobile apps implement payment 
services through its API and a few lines of code, is today adding in 
another new feature as it continues to build out its platform with more 
tools. It is now going to help prevent fraud on Stripe transactions, 
through a new service called <a href="https://stripe.com/radar" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Radar</a>.<br />

Radar is being rolled out globally as part of Stripe’s primary 
payments service, meaning companies that use Stripe’s API for payments 
do not need to pay extra or do anything in particular to turn it on.<br />

That may change down the line if and when Stripe — which has now raised <a data-href="https://techcrunch.com/2016/10/03/stripe-debuts-payments-in-japan-with-new-investor-sumitomo-mitsui-card-company/" href="https://draft.blogger.com/null" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">around $300 million</a>
 and is valued at around $5 billion — begins to add in more features and
 decides to monetise the service separately. (Its current, 
basic payments rate is a 2.9% commission plus 30 cents per successful 
card charge in the U.S. and fees vary in other markets.)<br />

“This is an area of active development and there is a long list of 
things we want to do,” said John Collison, Stripe’s co-founder and 
president, in an interview. “We haven’t ruled out [launching it as a 
separate service] but want to see how people use it and what works and 
what doesn’t first.”<br />

There are already areas where I could see Stripe potentially adding 
in more features beyond fraud detection and prevention. For example, for
 now Stripe is not offering any kind of insurance or protection services
 alongside the fraud prevention, although Collison told me that this is 
one area it has considered.<br />

In Radar, Stripe is tackling a very big issue in the world of online 
commerce. Retail e-commerce alone (which doesn’t include other kinds of 
transactions that might run through Stripe’s system) will be worth 
nearly $2 trillion globally this year, according to estimates from <a href="https://www.emarketer.com/Article/Worldwide-Retail-Ecommerce-Sales-Will-Reach-1915-Trillion-This-Year/1014369" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">eMarketer</a>,
 and over the next two years it will continue to grow at a rate above 20
 percent and take an ever-bigger proportion of all commerce (including 
offline) transactions.<br />

But as online commerce continues to grow, so do incidents of e-commerce fraud. A <a href="http://www.pymnts.com/fraud-prevention/2016/online-fraud-attack-rates-soar-since-october/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">survey</a>
 conducted by Pymts and Forter found that in Q4 of 2015 there were 27 
fraud attempts for every 1,000 transactions, and in Q1 2016, some $4.79 
out of every $100 in transactions was at risk (a year before it was 
$2.90).<br />

Collison would not say how much fraud may have passed through 
Stripe’s own pipes over the years, but pointed to the fact that there is
 a lot across all of e-commerce.<br />
