Interviewed after the game, Mesut Ozil’s in-form teammate Theo Walcott commented on his “ruthless” German teammate.Walcott joked that he wasn’t around in the first half but did get his expressions completed mixed up. It’s either “Throwing someone under the bus” or “water under the bridge” but we’ll let it slide.
The English winger also mistakenly said it was Ozil’s second career hat-trick.
